January 10th vote to fix the
Martinson Elementary School roof
The Martinson Elementary School has a leaking roof that is in need of repair. At the fall town meeting, they voted to repair the roof; now the town must pass a debt exclusion on January 10th to pay for the repairs. The Recall Marshfield campaign is working to build awareness about the status of the leaking roof at Martinson Elementary School that is in need of repair.

The total estimated cost of the school roof project is $3.4 million, but the town does not have to cover the full cost of the project thanks to an agreement with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA), which Will reimburse the town 49.1% of the total cost of the project. The project is expected to cost the average Marshfield homeowner—with a property value of $758,000—about $30.35 per year.
The biggest obstacle to repairing the Martinson roof is that most people are unaware of the extra step of the election. The Recall Marshfield campaign is working to build awareness about the election through an outreach campaign. If we can count on your vote on January 10th, pledge your support online.
